For the month of October you’re going to find Darby Pop Publishing a little bit of everywhere: conventions, signings, your local comic book store, east coast, west coast. There will be no escape!

 

 

The first event you’ll find us at is SoCal Comic Con on Sunday, October 5th. In attendance will be INDESTRUCTIBLE writers Jeff Kline (TRANSFORMERS: PRIME, G.I. JOE RENEGADES) and Ken Kristensen (TODD: THE UGLIEST KID ON EARTH) and DOBERMAN convention exclusive cover artist Tony Fleecs (MY LITTLE PONY, IN MY LIFETIME) along with Darby Managing Editor Renae Geerlings. SoCal Comic Con is being held at 1938 Avenida del Oro, Oceanside, CA 92056.

 

 

 

On Wednesday, October 8th Darby Pop will be taking over Brave New World Comics at 22722 Lyons Ave. #6, Newhall, CA 91321 for a signing. In celebration of the releases of the CITY: THE MIND IN THE MACHINE trade and DEAD SQUAD #1, CITY writer Eric Garcia (MATCHSTICK MEN, ANONYMOUS REX) and DEAD SQUAD writers Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia (both of JERICHO, WAREHOUSE 13, and HUMAN TARGET) will be on hand to sign your comics along with Managing Editor Renae Geerlings and Marketing Associate Kristine Chester.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Darby Pop hops coasts from October 9th-12th, Thursday-Sunday for New York Comic-Con at the Javits Center. We’ll be exhibiting there at Booth #2107.

We’ll have with us there for INDESTRUCTIBLE writers Jeff Kline (TRANSFORMERS: PRIME, G.I. JOE RENEGADES) and Ken Kristensen (TODD: THE UGLIEST KID ON EARTH), and cover artists Bernard Chang (GREEN LANTERN CORPS, WONDER WOMAN) and Jose Lopez (GREEN LANTERN: FIRST FLIGHT, TRANSFORMERS: PRIME).

For DOBERMAN cover artist for the convention exclusive cover Tony Fleecs (MY LITTLE PONY, IN MY LIFETIME).

For THE 7TH SWORD, Reuben Award winning cover artist Andrew C. Robinson (THE FIFTH BEATLE, KING CONAN) who also drew the SWORD convention exclusive.

And, last but not least, for DEAD SQUAD artists Kirk Van Wormer (TRANSFORMERS: PRIME, THE BATMAN) and Michael Montenant (SPIRIT OF THE LAW) and subscription and convention exclusive cover artist Howard Chaykin (DOMINIC FORTUNE, AMERICAN FLAGG!).

Super Heroes in Training welcomes Darby Pop back on Saturday, October 25th at 10:30pm for a Halloween Party at 945 West Valley Parkway, Suite D Escondido, CA 92025. In attendance will be INDESTRUCTIBLE writer Jeff Kline (TRANSFORMERS: PRIME, G.I. JOE RENEGADES), DEAD SQUAD writers Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia (both of JERICHO, WAREHOUSE 13, HUMAN TARGET), Marketing Director Joshua Cozine, and keep an eye out for a special guest or two.

 

 

 

 

Closing out the month, Darby Pop will be at the Comikaze Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center from Friday, October 31st, through Sunday, November 2nd. So far confirmed to attend are CITY: THE MIND IN THE MACHINE writer Eric Garcia (MATCHSTICK MEN, ANONYMOUS REX), INDESTRUCTIBLE cover artist Jose Lopez (GREEN LANTERN: FIRST FLIGHT, TRANSFORMERS: PRIME), and special guest, Tyler Mane (Michael Myers from the HALLOWEEN films, Sabertooth from X-MEN).
