When she was little, Kristine’s father read her comics and she made him read aloud the sound effects. She has been hooked on comic books ever since. Born in Virginia, Kristine attended the University of Mary Washington and graduated with degrees in English and Business Administration. After a stint working in corporate America as an editor, she made the trek out to Los Angeles.

Kristine started in comics writing reviews and as a podcast host for Fanbase Press. In 2014, she went from reviewing comics to helping create comics when she was hired by Darby Pop Publishing as a member of the company’s marketing team. In 2016, she served as the assistant editor on the Women of Darby Pop anthology and could not be more proud of that book or the 21 writers and artists who helped make it a reality.
