Scott grew up in a Pennsylvanian bordello, later stole the identity of his murdered lieutenant in the U.S. Army, and now drowns that shame with booze and women as Senior Partner at his New York advertising firm. He’s also under major psycho-therapy for confusing himself with TV character ‘Don Draper’ whom he is not. He IS however from New Jersey and a Syracuse graduate. He is NOT in a long distance relationship with his estranged wife, Megan, because she too is a fictional character on MAD MEN and Scott is a real person who does real person things. He IS a writer and executive producer on IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA on FX. He is NOT, nor ever was, played by Jon Hamm. At least that’s what the “doctors” claim.
